Rodman Community Center
Welcome

The Rodman Community Center is a historic centerpiece in rural Chester County, South Carolina. Built in 1914 by its sister branch, Union ARP church in Richburg, SC, the Oak Grove ARP church supported a congregation until 1996, when it closed its doors due to dwindling membership. The presbytery then donated the building to the Rodman residents to be used as a community center.

It now provides a gathering place for community meetings and other events and has hosted numerous artists over the years including Verlon Thompson, Johnny Irion & Sarah Lee Guthrie, Michael Reno Harrell, The Fiddler & The Flutist, Ansel Couch, and many more...

Most recently, the community is focused on the restoration of the historic building which needs numerous repairs. Events are being organized and other charitable contributions are being solicited to raise funds for the center. If you are interested in sponsoring a specific restoration project or would otherwise like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the community center please contact us at info@rodmancc.org or click on the Donate button below.
